Southwestern Egg Rolls
Far East meets Southwest when spicy chorizo vegan crumbles, melty Monterey Jack cheese, and scallions are wrapped into crispy egg rolls. Served with guacamole, cool salsa verde, and BBQ ranch aioli for dipping.

Ingredients
- 7 oz. MorningStar Farms® Chorizo Crumbles
- 3 oz. Monterey Jack cheese
- 1 ½ Tbs. Chopped scallions
- Egg roll wraps
- Guacamole, salsa verde, and BBQ ranch aioli
Recipe Directions
1. Mix MorningStar Farms® Chorizo Crumbles in bowl with cheese and scallions.2. Place egg roll wrappers on prep station and apply water to the edges (this will help them stick when rolling and prevent from opening up in fryer).
3. Place 6-7 oz. of chorizo blend onto wrap. Roll closed. Fry immediately OR place on hotel pan on top of parchment paper; freeze overnight.
4. Heat fryer to 360 deg F. Drop egg rolls in fryer for 5 minutes. Let rest for a few minutes and cut in half diagonally.
5. Pair with poblano sauce, guacamole, or aioli for dipping.
