Feta-Topped Bell Pepper Gardenburger®

Opa! Don't be surprised when your customers break out in song and dance. This burger may just trigger the spirit of ancient Greece.

Ingredients

  • 24 each (3 pounds 12 ounces) Gardenburger® Original Veggie Patties
  • 5 1/3 cups (1 pound 8 ounces) sliced black olives
  • 1 lb 8 ounces roasted red bell peppers, chopped
  • 4 1/2 cups (1 lb 8 ounces) feta cheese crumbles
  • 3/4 cup (12 ounces) tzatziki sauce
  • 24 each sourdough bun
  • 24 leafs (1 lb 8 ounces) romaine leaf, fresh
  • 24 each (1 pound) tomato, fresh, sliced
  • 72 slices (1 lb 8 ounces) red onions, fresh, sliced

Recipe Directions

1. Cook Gardenburger® Original Burger patty according to directions.
2. Combine olives, peppers, and cheese crumbles and stack on patty.
3. Place patty under broiler for 2 minutes to melt cheese and warm relish.
4. Spread sauce on bottom bun.
5. Place lettuce, tomatoes, and onions on bottom bun, then place patty on top of lettuce mixture and top with bun.
