Spicy Mango Stir-fry

You start out with Gardenburger® Malibu Burgers but you create a symphony of flavor when you use them in this Spicy Mango Stir-fry recipe. It's also great if you have a lot of folks to feed.

  • 48 Gardenburger® Malibu Burger Organic Vegan
  • 12 Thai chili pepper
  • OR
  • bird's eye chili pepper
  • OR
  • small red serrano pepper
  • OR
  • jalapeno pepper,
  • 3 cups reduced sodium soy sauce
  • 4 cups ginger root,
  • 1/2 cup garlic,
  • 2 cups sesame or vegetable oil
  • 8 cups spanish onions,
  • 8 cups broccoli florets
  • 6 cups carrots,
  • 6 cups peppers- red, green or yellow
  • OR combination
  • 4 cups mangoes,
  • 6 cups fresh snow peas,
  • 3/4 cup fresh cilantro,
  • 3/4 cup green onions,
  • 1/2 cup almond slivers,

Recipe Directions

1. Combine Gardenburger® Malibu Burger strips, chili peppers, soy sauce, ginger root, and garlic in bowl and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
2. In large nonstick wok or skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat until hot.
3. Stir-fry onion in hot oil for 1-2 minutes.
4. Add patty strip mix, broccoli, carrots, and bell peppers. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes or until crisp-tender.
5. Stir in mangoes.
6. Add snow peas. Cook and gently stir for 1-2 minutes or until heated through.
4. Stir in cilantro. Garnish with green onions and almonds, if desired. Serve immediately.
