Ingredients
- 24 each (9 pounds 12 ounces) Gardenburger® Malibu Burger Organic Vegan
- 5 1/3 cups (24 ounces) black olives
- 1 cup (5 ounces) capers
- 1/2 cup (1/2 ounce) fresh oregano
- 3 lbs (72 rings) red onions
- 1/2 cup (4 ounces) vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup (4 ounces) Dijon mustard
- 24 each whole grain bun
- 24 leafs (1 lb 8 oz) fresh romaine
- 48 slices (2 pounds 8 ounces) tomato
Recipe Directions
1. Cook Gardenburger® Malibu Burger patty according to directions.2. Combine olives, capers, and oregano in mixing bowl and reserve.
3. Sauté onions with oil and caramelize, about 5 minutes.
4. Spread mustard on bottom bun.
5. Place lettuce and tomatoes on bottom bun, then place patty on top of lettuce mixture and top with olive relish and top bun.
