Mediterranean Fennel-seared Malibu Burger

Ingredients

  • 24 each (4 pounds 14 ounces) Gardenburger® Malibu Burger Organic Vegan
  • 1 quart 1 pint 3/4 cup (1 lb 8 ounces) fennel leaf, fresh, chopped
  • 1 quart 1 1/3 cups (1 lb 8 ounces) carrots, fresh, julienned
  • 1 quart 1 2/3 cups (1 lb 8 ounces) red onions, fresh, chopped
  • 1/2 cup (1 pounce) parsley, fresh, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon salt and pepper
  • 1/2 cup (4 fl ounces) Dijon mustard
  • 24 each whole-grain buns
  • 24 leafs (1 lb 8 ounces) romaine leaf, fresh
  • 48 slices (2 pounds 2 ounces) tomato, fresh, sliced

Recipe Directions

1. Cook Gardenburger® Malibu Burger patty according to directions. Sear for 5 seconds on grill.
2. Combine fennel, carrots, onions, and parsley in mixing bowl; season with salt and pepper and reserve.
3. Spread mustard on bottom bun.
4. Place lettuce and tomatoes on bottom bun, then place patty on top of lettuce mixture and top with fennel relish and top bun.
