Southwest Black Bean Slider

Spicy, lime-loaded pico de gallo, sour cream and Monterey Jack cheese top a grilled MorningStar Farms® Spicy Black Bean Slider on a toasted sesame bun.

  • 2 tablespoons Cilantro, fresh, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons Jalapeño, diced
  • 1/4 cup Lime juice, fresh
  • 1/4 cup Red onion, diced
  • 1 cup Tomato, diced
  • 30 each MorningStar Farms® Spicy Black Bean Sliders
  • 15 slices Monterey Jack, sliced
  • 30 each Sesame bun
  • 1 1/4 cup Pico de Gallo
  • 1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons Crema


Recipe Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350˚ F.
2. To prepare pico de gallo, mix cilantro, jalapeno, lime juice, red onions, and tomatoes.
3. Heat black bean slider in 350˚ F oven for 7-9 minutes, turning halfway through heating time. In the last 2 minutes of bake time, add cheese on top to melt.
4. Toast bun in 350˚ F oven for 3 minutes.
5. Place the heated black bean slider on the bottom half of the bun.
6. Top with pico de gallo.
7. Finish with a dollop of crema.
8. Add the top of the bun.
