Kellanova Away From Home Creates Unique Fan Experience at Cheez-It® Citrus Bowl and Pop-Tarts® Bowl with Signature Stadium Menu Items

Mouthwatering menu items featuring Cheez-It® and Pop-Tarts® make their debut for College Football Bowl Games in partnership with Florida Citrus Sports

Orlando (December 20, 2023) – Kellanova, a top leader in global snacking, is thrilled to announce its collaboration with Florida Citrus Sports and Camping World Stadium to craft an unforgettable stadium for the Pop-Tarts® Bowl, happening on December 28, and the Cheez-It® Citrus Bowl, which is set for the same venue on New Year’s Day.

The unique and innovative Bowl Game signature items featuring Cheez-It® and Pop-Tarts® will be available in general concessions, suites and boxes during the College Football Bowl Games. The stadium menu, which will be marketed via signage with dual branding for Cheez-It® and Pop-Tarts®, is set to wow taste buds with its wide array of delectable options set to satisfy the sweet tooth with crazy good options or fulfill savory cravings with products made with 100% cheese. Across both games, Camping World Stadium is estimated to entertain more than 110,000 fans.

  • End Zone Celebration Brown Sugar Cinnamon Pop-Tarts® Cheesecake: Frosted Brown Sugar Cinnamon Pop-Tarts®, New York-Style Cheesecake and Dulce De Leche

  • End Zone Celebration Strawberry Pop-Tarts® Cheesecake: Frosted Strawberry Pop-Tarts® Tidbits, New York-style Cheesecake and Strawberry Sauce 

  • Pop-Tarts® Popcorn: Chopped Frosted Strawberry Pop-Tarts®, Freshly Popped Popcorn and Strawberry Glaze

  • Spicy Cheez-It® & Bacon Bloody Mary: Smoky Original Cheddar Cheez-It® Rim, Crisp Black Pepper Bacon, Celery Stalk, Ciliegine Olive Skewer

  • Cheez-It® Ultimate Grilled Cheez Sandwich: Crunchy Original Cheddar Cheez-It®, Buttered Texas Toast and a combination of American, Provolone and Swiss cheese

  • Loaded Chili Cheez-It® Crunch Dog: Original Cheddar Cheez-It®, Foot-Long All-Beef Frank, Chunky Chili, Jalapeno Cheese Sauce, White Onions 

  • Cheez-It® Bacon Burger: Crunchy Original Cheddar Cheez-It® Topping, Char-Grilled Double Patty, Smoked Applewood Bacon, Cheddar Queso

  • Mac and Cheez-It® Nachos: Cheez-It® Extra Big, Extra Sharp Cheddar, Jalapeno Queso, Bacon, Green Onions

  • Scoop and Score Smoked Queso Dip: Cheez-It® Snap’d Jalapeno Jack, Spicy Cheese Sauce, Vine-Ripe Tomatoes, Green Chilies, Cream Cheese, Seasoned Ground Beef

  • Baked Brisket Mac-n-Cheez-It®: Baked Original Cheddar Cheez-It® Crumb Topping, Overnight-Braised Tender Beef, Creamy Extra Sharp Cheddar Cheese Sauce 

For those who won’t be in Orlando or at stadium to experience all the excitement, Kellanova Away From Home partnered with organizations to bring certain elements of the Bowl Game experience to fans nationwide or in other areas of Orlando.

  • Crumbl Cookies plans to re-release the beloved Pop-Tarts® Brown Sugar Cinnamon cookie in 950+ Crumbl Cookies stores nationwide from December 27 to December 30, paying homage to the Pop-Tarts® Bowl game. The cookies will be available for $4 to $6 depending on the region. More than 500 cookies will also be served at more than six player, family and VIP events in the week leading up to both Bowl Games.

  • Kellanova Away From Home joined forces with Hudson News to bring a Pop-Tarts® and Cheez-It® takeover to ten convenience stores in airports across the Orlando area. Patrons can expect Cheez-It® and Pop-Tart® Bowl digital signage, floor decals, and staff proudly sporting bowl game t-shirts.

  • Fans staying at the Bowl Game Partner Hotels will receive free samples of Cheez-It® on game day from hotel staff sporting Game Day t-shirts.

Lastly, the excitement for the Bowl Games began in the late summer when fans were able to enter for a chance to win a trip to the Cheez-It® Citrus Bowl with a purchase of qualifying Cheez-It® products at six participating convenience store retailers including Pilot Flying J and Circle K – representing 8,000 stores nationwide. The sweepstakes ran until August.
